Peter Ernst von Mansfeld (1580 - 29 November 1626), illegitimate son of Count Peter Ernst I. von Mansfeld; he rendered distinguished military service during the Thirty Years War in the anti-Hapsburg coalition, especially during the Czech-Palatinate war. During his career he was seen as the most successful commander ever serving in the Czech Lands army. He successfully captured the city of Pilsen.
